Trends and Developments in Biodiversity Informatics
Symposium: Key Innovations in Biodiversity Informatics
Date: 21-22 October 2002, Indaiatuba, SP, BrazilThe purpose of this Symposium is to present the emerging "landscape" in biodiversity informatics. The program will include reviews of relevant international activities and broader trends in information technology. Regional and local efforts will be presented and their relationships and contributions to the larger goals in biodiversity informatics will be discussed. The program will focus on efforts with special emphasis on Latin America, but initiatives that reflect the "state of the art" regardless of geographic focus will be also invited.
