CODATA Workshop Biography
Laís Costa is a Project Manager in the Coordination of Strategic Programmes and Projects of Fundação Oswaldo Cruz Brasília. Presently she is manager of the Pan-Amazonian Network of Science, Technology and Innovation in Health. She is also responsible for the Intersectorial Cooperation Network in Health and Regional Development in Brazilian Borders, which is coordinated by an agreement among Panamerican Heatlh Organization, Fundação Oswaldo Cruz and Brazilian Ministry of Health.
She took her undergraduate degree in Business Management at Pontifícia Universidade Católica (PUC-RJ) and her masters' degree in Development Studies at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), with scholarship from The British Council. For the last ten years she has worked for the public sector related to fiscal policy and social and regional development. For the past four years, she has been managing projects concerning health and territorial development. Laís was involved in a number of publications concerning the elaboration of public programmes and the status quo of public projects.
