Librarian. Universidad de Chile. Post Graduate studies at UCLA, USA. Director of the Information Department of the National Research Council, CONICYT Chile, from 1986 until 2000. To-day, Advisor to the President of CONICYT on Scientific Information matters. Member of different Boards of scientific information institutions and international programs. Former Professor at the University of Chile.
